Motion: Brief video showcasing our journey thus for on the two projects
The Covid-19 pandemic has continued to viciously bite across the globe and for us from the ALIGUMA Foundation we have not shied away from religiously preaching the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); wash your hands, wear your mask, social distance and boost your immunity among other necessities as advised by our authorities.
Behind the scenes, we have not sat back and let time while away. We have used this time to focus on our projects that will make a big difference for our less privileged and disadvantaged people especially those in Acholi Quarters and its surrounding areas of Kireka-Banda Zone; a suburb of Kampala City in Uganda.
The 'Acholi Quarters Playground' will soon be playable in the foreseeable future thanks in no small part to our primarily facilitators; UEFA Foundation For Children and partners United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).
Ground Breaking: CEO Ritah Aliguma (2nd R) and volunteer members of the foundation at the Acholi Quarters Playground monumental mark.
And for the 'Ndi Mwana – The Cry Of A Girl Child' campaign, we had a successful launch on May 29th, 2021 and we have continued to canvass for help from several well-wishers who have responded to our plea to ensure the ‘Girl-Child’ accesses the bare-minimum requirement like sanitary pads so that they’re not taken advantage of.
Our Plea, Your Concern: At Only UGX 3,000, you can save more than just a life of a 'Girl-Child'.
We continue to ‘THANK YOU’ for all your help and in the same vein reach out to you to ‘OFFER MORE’ so that the ‘GIRL CHILD’ is given a chance to become the ‘MOTHER’ of tomorrow and not rather be ‘ABUSED’.
