A delegation of children and officials from the Aliguma Foundation in Uganda traveled to Athens, Greece courtesy of the UEFA Foundation for Children.
The 7-man team is led by the CEO/Founder of the Aliguma Foundation M/s Ritah Aliguma, aboard Turkish airlines.
The travelling contingent also has two children from Acholi Quaters' slums with a local leader, another two from the Masindi hub and the foundation administrator.
James Odongkara, 13, and Janet Zenah Arach, 18 are from Acholi Quarters, accompanied by a local council councillor Mr. Ismail Mukoiko.
10-year-old Christian Mirembe, a boy with special needs and Don Mirembe, 14 are from Masindi.
The foundation administrator M/s Dorren Namuyinga and M/s Aliguma are the other members on the delegation that will inter-face the board members for the UEFA Foundation for Children.
The delegation will also watch a high profile football game between Olympiakos and Fiorentina in the Europa Conference league final at the OPAP Arena in Greece on Wednesday, 29th May 2024.
