Pictorial: Successful meeting of school-going children sponsored by The Aliguma Foundation

The Aliguma Foundation directly carters for over 300 needy children across the entire Uganda.

These are found in the Acholi Quarters, in Masindi and elsewhere, aged between 4 to 25 year-olds.

Among the programs in place to keep a vibrant force and proper upbringing is that of education, self-empowerment projects and other resourceful ideas.

The education program recieved a boost with the recent visit of the Slovenia legends who made a courtesy tour to Uganda accompanied by the president of UEFA.

Each of the 23 legends vowed to sponsor a child and all is going according to book.

The foundation held a recent tranquil meeting with some of the children, their parents and guardians.

"We are seeing future responsible persons here as lawyers, engineers, doctors, pilots, teachers, professors and other professional personalities. Keep in school, remain focused and determined" Ritah Aliguma, CEO of the Aliguma Foundation urged.

During the meeting, the parents and guardians as well as the children freely shared ideas on how to keep focused at school with the talent of successfully accomplishing the task at hand.
